Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Responsibilities

Use data analysis, production capacity experience and decision making to schedule and direct factory operations.
Respond to, communicate, and resolve operational curtailments and hardships.
Develop and train coworkers on inventory transaction best practices and common errors and how to prevent them.
Be a leader for the 6S program.
Manage at least two 6S audit areas.
Perform and train others in quality assessment equipment and measuring techniques including gaging, TIR, centerlines, contour tracer, CMM, SPC, Surfometer.
Set up, purchase materials and maintain Kanban and point of use (POU) systems. Establish and direct Kanban replenishment methods such as instruction sheets and AR supplies.
