About The Position

The Plant Controller is the key finance partner for the Factory Leadership Team, helping drive operational excellence, cost competitiveness, and overall value creation. This role works closely with cross‑functional partners, adapting quickly to shifting business needs and offering clear financial guidance along the way. They maintain strong financial controls and administrative processes to ensure all transactions are accurate, compliant, and reflective of the true financial health of the site. Reliable, transparent reporting is essential to supporting business goals, enabling growth, and sustaining our competitive edge in the market.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of finance experience in public or multinational settings, including 2–3 years in a plant environment.
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA, CPA, or CA preferred) with strong IFRS knowledge.
  • Strong grasp of accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls, with the ability to keep the site compliant while staying practical and business‑focused.
  • Trusted finance partner who builds relationships across teams and is seen as a go‑to expert for guidance and problem‑solving.
  • Clear, confident communicator who can explain financial topics in a straightforward way and work openly with auditors.
  • Experience leading financial reporting, improving processes, and driving productivity across a plant or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure while supporting a collaborative, team‑driven culture.
  • Broad background in FP&A, IFRS, cost accounting, tax, transfer pricing, reporting, and financial management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the site’s budgeting and forecasting process, making sure plans stay aligned with real production needs and operational trends.
  • Keep visibility on factory costs and performance, calling out what’s on track, what’s not, and where we can improve.
  • Run monthly performance reviews and track key metrics like OEE, cost per unit, waste, and productivity.
  • Support continuous‑improvement and productivity initiatives by validating savings and ensuring financial impact is measurable.
  • Own the site’s Capex process—from business case creation to tracking, cash flow timing, and ROI follow‑up.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and help the site stay audit‑ready.
  • Partner closely with leaders in operations, engineering, supply chain, and planning to guide decisions with clear financial insights.
  • Coach and support finance team members while participating in regional finance forums and improvement communities.
