About The Position
Clean Harbors in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Facility Technician to join their team. This role involves training with the Wastewater Treatment Operator to learn how to process inbound tankers and waste, as well as operate the belt press. The position is for the Day Shift with a pay rate of $20.50/HR.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1+ Years of related experience
- Ability to use computer efficiently
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Follow all Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Handle drum movements, unloading/loading tank farm trucks, and other basic facility operations in compliance with DOT requirements
- Operate a forklift (as needed) and complete daily safety inspections
- Submit documentation for waste tracking and movement
- Maintain area compliance with permit standards
- Meet or exceed daily production goals
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- All other duties as required by management
