About The Position

Performance Energy Services is seeking a Facility Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of maintenance, repair, and operational tasks within the facility. This role requires a strong focus on safety, a solid work ethic, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills. The technician will also contribute to the production of ExoForms and may perform custodial duties as needed. Collaboration with outside contractors for specialized tasks is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience.
• Strong team-oriented skills.
• Exceptional understanding of Safety processes and practices.
• Able to mentor new employees.
• Exceptional technical writing and communication skills.
• Must have a valid Twic card.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on systems such as plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, including changing filters, repairing leaks, and replacing light fixtures.
• Certified in welding 3g/4g.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with building systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational policies. Remedy and report any issues that require attention.
• Work as a team to produce ExoForms (Cajun Coral) at all steps of the production process, including forklift operations.
• Occasionally perform custodial duties, such as cleaning and maintaining common areas.
• Work with outside contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.
