About The Position

Facilities Technician We have a rewarding opportunity for an Industrial Facilities Technician with manufacturing experience that will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, remodels, installations, and/or troubleshooting/repairing production/facilities equipment. You will work independently or in a team environment while complying with all EHS, OSHA, EPA, and Quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
  • Basic math skills
  • Demonstrates great interpersonal and communication skills and maintains a positive and professional attitude.
  • Demonstrates ability to work against deadlines in supporting company goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to operate under change and transitioning demands.
  • Lives the “continuous improvement” philosophy; develops and adopts new ideas and concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Some Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Experience with SyteLine ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned tasks that include but are not limited to preventative maintenance, electrical, plumbing, mechanical repairs and assist in installations, and general repairs including troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform and complete preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents.
  • Must possess problem-solving skills, understanding of industrial EHS requirements/policies, corrective action efforts/systems improvements, equipment installations, participate in risk/hazard abatement.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to recognize and mitigate potential safety hazards on job site and/or task.
  • Certified or able to become certified to drive lifts, forklifts, and work at in a secure facility.
  • Able to understand and demonstrate basic computer skills to use company’s ERP system.
  • Trains/Mentors as needed.
