About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. This role assists with the operation of leased or owned structures, other technical sites and office facilities within an allocated budget. The Facility Technician is responsible for daily facility operations and maintenance of administration, retail, warehouse, COE, etc. This role may also assist with building security, energy conservation, reception and mailroom operations, and office equipment and furnishing procurement. The position oversees new facility plan execution and build-out, and ensures compliance with all local, state, federal and OSHA facilities related regulations.

Requirements

HS diploma, GED or relevant work experience
1 or more year of experience preferred in related field (facilities operations)
Requires working knowledge of MS Office Applications, i.e. Word and Excel
Excellent organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking, math, written, verbal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization
Valid local State Drivers’ License with driving record that meets client standards
Travel required.
Selected candidate needs a vehicle.
Will be working in administrative facilities maintain all Las Vegas properties - 10 properties in LV Metro
Computer skills
HVAC knowledge
Light plumbing repair abilities
Able to perform light electrical work, such as replacing light ballasts

Nice To Haves

AS/AA or Technical Certification in related discipline desired
Prefer certification in operating lifting equipment.
Experience in telecommunications industry desired.
Experience operating commercial chillers, cooling towers, boilers, VFD drives and pumps
Experience operating automated Building Management Systems to include Central Plant, HVAC controls and automated lighting systems
Building customer relationships should be a requested skill.

Responsibilities

Performs basic electrical work, preventative maintenance of HVAC, basic plumbing, office furniture repairs/cleaning, basic carpentry work and conducts routine inspection of such items.
Assists with reconfigurations and relocates furniture and office equipment as well as set up and take down of furniture/audio visual equipment for meetings and special events in house or at remote locations as required by event planning.
Performs special projects such as office modifications, furniture tear-down/reconstruction, door repairs, light bulb replacements, mounting bulletin boards, white boards, TV’s, pictures etc.
Assists with coordinating vendor activity for miscellaneous repairs. Contacts current vendors/contractors to solicit cost estimates for minor repairs, etc. May review invoices or service ticket for accuracy and submit to leader for processing and payment.
Performs ergonomic modifications to furniture/equipment as directed by Safety.
Reviews UET work request queue daily. Takes action on tickets as directed and/or needed to meet SLA.
Responds to emergency calls, evaluating damages and takes necessary steps to protect customers, employees and property.
Observes, reports and/or remediates safety matters.
Maintains inventory of supplies, parts and stock.
May perform some minor landscape repairs or adjustments and property clean-up services (minor trash, cigarette butt clean up, remove small broken branches, etc…).
May provide security assistance as needed.
May perform basic janitorial duties throughout the facilities.
May occasionally be responsible for shipping, receiving, and mail delivery.
May participate in meetings and assist with special event support and planning with respect to facility-related matters.
