About The Position

WE ARE HIRING A FACILITY TECHNICIAN AT HANSEL AUTO GROUP!!! We are seeking a responsible, hardworking, and self-motivated Facility Technician to support the maintenance and operation of 11 business properties located throughout Petaluma, Santa Rosa, and Napa. This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained. Pay Range is $31.00-$36.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Good DMV record and over the age of 21 to drive our vehicles
• Good written and verbal communication
• Great time management and project management skills
• Professional demeanor to represent our company
• Good problem-solving skill
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office and e-mail
• Works will with outside vendors/professionals and co-workers
• Able to remain calm under pressure
• Able to work with management direction and independently
• Great attitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License and clear record is required.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years in previous experience in a similar role, such as an industrial electrician or utility worker, is preferred.
• Military experience in a related field may be considered as relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine property inspections, including facility lighting, signage, irrigation systems, and car wash equipment.
• Ensure equipment and property systems remain fully operational.
• Coordinate and facilitate monthly and annual compliance inspections.
• Perform general facility maintenance across multiple business locations, including: Replacing sump pumps, Plumbing repairs, Electrical troubleshooting and repairs, Cosmetic repairs and upkeep, General handyman work.
• Coordinate with outside vendors, contractors, and service providers as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
