About The Position
Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Technician I in San Jose, California, to perform hands-on facility operations. The role includes handling drums, operating in the tank farm, offloading trucks, and completing waste-tracking paperwork. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It may be a suitable opportunity for college students or recent high school graduates seeking work experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Follow health and safety policies and procedures and act safely at all times.
- Perform daily drum pumping and drum dumping tasks, tank farm operations, and truck offloading.
- Complete and submit paperwork associated with waste-tracking movements and use a scanning application.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
