About The Position

The Facility Technician I at Clean Harbors’ Clive, Utah facility performs hands-on material-handling and warehouse duties, including loading and offloading vans with a forklift and completing paperwork for waste tracking and regulatory purposes. This position supports a new project shredding non-flammable paint materials into roll-off bins and unloading containers using forklifts. Day and night shifts are available. A company-provided shuttle operates to and from Tooele and Grantsville.

Requirements

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge is required.
Ability to work in adverse environments, including cold and heat.

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse experience in a similar setting is preferred.
Forklift experience or qualification is an asset.
DOT training is preferred.

Responsibilities

Make health and safety the top priority at all times.
Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes.
Assist with outbound load paperwork.
Load and unload 55-gallon drums.
Use a handheld scanner.
Operate a forklift when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
