About The Position

Clean Harbors located in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Facility Technician to add to their team. The Facility Technician will work in the solidification department operating equipment, unloading incoming loads and pumping. Shift: Day Shift: Monday-Friday: 7:00am-4:00pm. Overtime and Saturdays as needed. Pay: $20.50/HR

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be 18 years or older
• 1+ Years of related experience
• Ability to use computer efficiently
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred
• Yellow iron equipment operation experience a huge plus but not required will train

Responsibilities

• Follow all Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Handle drum movements, unloading/loading tank farm trucks, and other basic facility operations in compliance with DOT requirements
• Operate a forklift (as needed) and complete daily safety inspections
• Will be trained on yellow iron equipment such as excavators etc
• Submit documentation for waste tracking and movement
• Maintain area compliance with permit standards
• Meet or exceed daily production goals
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• All other duties as required by management
