Facility Technician I
About The Position
The Facility Technician I for Denton, TX, will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This is an entry-level position that main job is working on our filter line crew. This is a manual job, bending over / standing for 10+ hours per day, pulling trash and metal from conveyor line (30-50lbs), dumping drums, crushing drums, pumping drums, cleaning around the site, and other job duties as needed. Usually 2 weekends per month, as business demands also this shift does go to 12-hours as needed, as we get busy, sometimes have to modify the 2nd shift. Shift: 1st 5 am-330 pm (Saturdays when business demands). Pay: $20.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1+ Years of related experience
- Ability to use computer
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
Nice To Haves
- Fork lift experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Load and unload route trucks
- Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center
- Manage inventory order and receiving process
- General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area
- Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner
