About The Position

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO - Rockrimmon is seeking a Facility technician to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be full-time, 6 months in duration beginning in January. In this role, you will be working alongside very skilled facility technicians, mentoring you as you gain the knowledge that you need to become a confident building facility technician.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a trade school seeking a future as an electrician, plumber, carpenter, HVAC, etc. or pursuing a college degree as a mechanical engineer or related field.
• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
• Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.

Nice To Haves

• Someone who is motivated and willing to learn from others.
• Willing to work in any safe work environment, including outdoors.
• A boiler license or HVAC certificate is a plus

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot building equipment such as HVAC, boiler, and compressor systems.
• Work on a variety of building systems
• Fabricate special “one offs” for certain applications
• Work with and understand our Building Management System (BMS)
• Repair or build new building infrastructure such as installing walls, painting, ceiling systems, etc.
• Minor repairs on equipment such as forklifts, garage doors, lights, grounds work, plumbing, flooring, and electronic systems.
