About The Position
Join Our team at the Comfort Suites Marysville. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Facility Support Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept environment while supporting the overall upkeep of the property.
Requirements
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Reliable, detail oriented and takes initiative
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be on call for any emergency that may come up
Nice To Haves
- Basic maintenance knowledge is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the property remains in excellent condition
- Completes maintenance slips (work orders) in a timely manner
- Perform minor repairs, and paint touch ups
- Maintains cleanliness of exterior areas, including parking lots, flower beds, and trash removal
- Assist with groundkeeping, including pulling weeds, and general upkeep of the exterior
- Pressure wash sidewalks and areas of the parking lot
- Perform carpet cleaning, and floor cleaning
- Monitor and check pool chemicals to ensure the proper levels
- Assist housekeeping as needed to support daily operations
