About The Position

The Facility Solutions Manager, commonly aligned with an MEP Superintendent role, provides technical leadership for planning, coordinating, and executing MEP systems and commissioning activities across assigned construction projects. The position supports operational project readiness by overseeing technical requirements, project schedules, system documentation, and commissioning deliverables while collaborating with project teams, trade partners, commissioning agents, and owners.

The role involves working with technical experts, management, design teams, and engineering firms to develop MEP solutions, processes, and project documentation. It also includes leading and developing project team members and monitoring project schedules, financial information, and regional performance to support quality and successful outcomes. The position uses project and office software to manage documentation, schedules, and reporting, and requires effective communication across internal teams and external partners in mobile jobsite environments.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience; preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Construction Management.
• At least 6 years of experience in construction and operations.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe cloud.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to function as part of a high-performance team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical experts, management, design teams, and engineering firms to develop MEP solutions, processes, and project documentation.
• Lead and develop project team members while coordinating MEP systems, commissioning activities, and operational project readiness.
• Review plans, specifications, schedules, and technical requirements for major and complex construction projects.
• Evaluate building systems and project performance to identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes and deliverables.
• Monitor project schedules, financial information, and regional performance to support quality, accuracy, and successful project outcomes.
• Use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and other applicable software to manage project documentation, schedules, and reporting.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively across internal teams, external partners, and mobile jobsite environments.
