Facility Services Installer
About The Position
The Facility Services (FS) Installer is primarily responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of Alsco dispensers used by customers at their locations. This role also supports the Service Department by performing tasks such as special deliveries, facility services up-selling/cross-selling, and reporting service issues. The FS Installer must adhere to company policies and procedures, manage customer needs, and ensure customer loyalty through outstanding service and relationship building. A key aspect of the role involves safely operating a company vehicle and monitoring competitive activity.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding or safety violations.
- Excellent skills in customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to comprehend and follow direction.
- Good time management skills.
- Team player.
- Ability to recognize colors, sizes and types of product.
- Ability to count, add and subtract accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude needed to install, repair and maintain various types of dispensers and facility service products.

- Similar experience to High School graduation.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain Alsco dispensers and facility service products.
- Solicit new customers, up-sell/cross-sell/sample all lines of service or product and ensure a profitable product mix.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding installation and maintenance of Alsco dispensers and facility service products, managing customer needs and all aspects of service.
- Ensure customer loyalty and outstanding customer service by building relationships, communicating openly, educating customers, managing customer needs, and proactively resolving concerns in cooperation with supervision.
- Safely operate a company vehicle, following all applicable laws and company policy.
- Monitor and report competitive activity.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
- May work with and support other service personnel as required by supervision.
