About The Position

As a Facility Services Associate, you are responsible for ensuring daily operations run smoothly—from facility checks and maintenance to vendor coordination and emergency response. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, efficient, and fully operational workplace. Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in facilities, maintenance, or building operations preferred
  • Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Open and inspect all floors daily, ensuring all areas are operational and in order
  • Complete and submit daily facilities checklists, including pantry and equipment checks
  • Take immediate action on any issues—resolving internally or escalating to vendors
  • Perform light maintenance tasks, including electrical (bulbs, outlets, switches), plumbing (filters, toilets, faucets, dispensers), and locksmith support (door access, minor repairs, key coordination)
  • Install and remove furniture, whiteboard films, and wall-mounted TVs as needed
  • Monitor and maintain CCTV systems (daily checks and weekly recording reviews)
  • Adjust temperature via BMS and coordinate with engineering/vendors for unresolved issues
  • Support preventive maintenance of critical systems, including HVAC, generators, UPS, and fire suppression systems
  • Conduct engineering rounds and document required readings when needed
  • Coordinate and supervise vendors onsite to ensure quality and compliance
  • Obtain pricing and support execution of repairs, maintenance, and facility projects
  • Partner with Facilities leadership on small to large-scale initiatives
  • Oversee daytime cleaning crew and ensure service standards are met
  • Provide mailroom and general operational support as needed
  • Maintain compliance with building policies (COI, access, regulations)
  • Serve as Fire Guard when required
  • Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections
  • Act as a key contact for emergency situations, including 24/7 response when needed
  • Coordinate with monitoring systems and respond onsite when critical alerts arise
