About The Position

ITility is seeking an experienced performance-driven Facility Security Officer (FSO) to coordinate and monitor highly sensitive aspects of DoD or other industrial security programs and activities in accordance with U.S. Government and Company requirements. The FSO will work closely with customers, company leadership, assigned program management, and staff. This position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week onsite at ITility’s Chantilly, VA Headquarters. Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • A minimum of 10 years relevant and related experience.
  • Minimum completion of FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities (IS030.CU).
  • Additional certifications: FSO Orientation for Non-Possessing Facilities (ISO20.CU) or Insider Threat Program Senior Official (INT101.16) Certification.
  • 10 plus years of experience as a security professional with at least 7 years as an FSO or CSSO supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community programs.
  • Thorough knowledge of the government clearance process and DoD security programs (NISS, DISS, NBIS, eApp and SWFT).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and functional understanding of the 32CFR Part 117- NISPOM and ability to administer it.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM.
  • Ability to manage complex situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks while still meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all aspects of the Industrial Security Program are accomplished in alignment with DCSA and in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Intelligence Community Directives (ICD).
  • Conducting required internal security self-inspections and leading DCSA security reviews/assessments.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable government and company policies and procedures.
  • Providing security education/training to cleared employees, administering security indoctrinations, conducting annual security refresher trainings and debriefings, and regular re-briefing of employees on foreign travel and hostile intelligence.
  • Securely maintaining all ITility facilities and personnel security records.
  • Maintaining successful working relationships with government agencies and security offices of current customers.
  • Conducting internal security investigations and coordinating/submitting reports to external agencies as required.
  • Utilizing DCSA security databases including DISS, NBIS, eAPP, and SWFT.
  • Collaborating and consulting with the Contracts Department to ensure compliance with all prime and subcontractors’ security requirements, including the completion and tracking of all DD254s.
  • Assisting with badging for employees, subcontractors, and others as needed.
  • Managing the ITility HQ Office, including coordination with facility leasing and security organizations.
  • Participating in proposal development solutioning and writing related to proposed security management requirements.
