About The Position

As the Facility Security Officer, you will manage and initiate personnel clearances and process visit access requests (VARs) within the Defense Information System for Security (DISS-soon to transition to NBIS). You will work directly with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and other Trusted Agents to process initial/modify/renew of Common Access Card (CAC) requests, and SCI Nominations. You will provide, develop, and manage initial and refresher security training/newsletters/briefings/debriefings (SF-312, NATO, COMSEC, Initial, Insider, Annual, etc.). You will develop and manage Prime and Sub-Contract DD-254s. You will serve as a main participant in DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessments (SVA) and Continuous Monitoring (CM) engagements. You will conduct periodic self-inspections of the division security program in accordance with the NISPOM (32 CFR part 117) and company policies. You will manage and maintain facility access control, including distributing ID badges and access cards. You will assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security-related policies, strategies, procedures, and objectives. You will accurately track incoming/outgoing classified documents, media, and hardware. You will investigate, report, and document security violations. You will assist the Senior Management Official (SMO) and assist the ISSO to achieve NIST and CMMC 2.0 compliance. Local Escort duties are required. You must adapt to changes in the work environment and maintain a professional demeanor. You will maintain advanced knowledge of using NBIS, DISS, ACCS, and NISS, working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) and Department of Defense regulations. You will maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism, and work with a sense of urgency, integrity, and ethics. You serve as the Insider Threat Senior Program Manager and as Special Activities Action Officer.
