About The Position

The Facility Project Manager will manage the overall coordination of services and performance at CMI’s customer site in Omaha, NE. This role is responsible for overseeing various facility functions including electrical, mechanical, fire protection & safety, BAS systems, service request desk operations, and maintenance. The position requires meeting cost, performance, and schedule requirements throughout contract execution, managing service requests, emergencies, and projects. A key aspect of the role involves inspecting preventive maintenance procedures, identifying performance issues, training personnel, and ensuring the education and training manual is updated monthly. The Facility Project Manager will oversee operations, staffing, and performance to ensure facility services meet or exceed customer guidelines in a high-quality, cost-effective, and timely manner. They will actively participate in capital improvement plans and projects, assist with daily operations, and coordinate with client customers. The role also includes overseeing sub-contractors and maintenance contracts, ensuring work meets client expectations, and measuring/evaluating productivity and quality to develop improvement programs. Partnering with vendors for reliable and cost-effective supplies, parts, and equipment is also a responsibility, ensuring all deliverables are met and any required corrective action complies with contract performance.

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • At least ten (10) years of operations and facility maintenance experience
  • At least five (5) years of project management/supervisory experience
  • Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management credential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Partner with vendors to ensure a reliable cost-effective source of supplies, parts, and equipment.
  • Ensure any required corrective action complies with contract performance.
