About The Position

This role involves serving as a representative of Brett/Robinson, demonstrating courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions. The Facility Painter will read work orders and specifications to identify areas needing paint, prepare surfaces, and apply paint to various structures. The position also includes reporting safety issues, attending meetings, and performing other assigned duties. This role is suitable for individuals with military experience, those without a high school diploma or GED, individuals with gaps in their resume or who have been out of the workforce, and those new to the workforce or returning with limited experience.

Requirements

• Ability to read work orders and specifications.
• Proficiency in using tools for general paint preparation.
• Skill in sanding and preparing surfaces for painting.
• Experience painting walkways, stairwells, gates, walls, outside unit doors, and common door areas.
• Ability to report safety issues.
• Willingness to attend departmental meetings.
• Must adhere to uniform requirements: laundered, pressed, and fitting appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a representative of Brett/Robinson, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other employees of Brett/Robinson, owners, guests, and other members of the community.
• Reads work orders and specifications to determine areas requiring painting.
• Uses tools required for general paint preparation.
• Sands and prepares surfaces for painting.
• Paints walkways, stairwells, gates, walls, outside unit door, and common door areas.
• Reports safety issues.
• Attends departmental meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
