About The Position

You will be the Facility Operations Specialist for the Facilities Operations Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring mission‑critical equipment and infrastructure operate safely and reliably. As the Facility Operations Specialist you will be responsible for delivering hands‑on technical support and logistics for equipment and shelter systems supporting a unique operation. This position supports our Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services. This position is located in Fayetteville, NC.

Requirements

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
  • Safety Consciousness: Deep knowledge of OSHA guidelines, lockout/tagout procedures, and proper PPE use to prevent hazards.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, load calculations, and wiring components.
  • Code Compliance: Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
  • Physical Ability: Stamina for working in varied temperatures, lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and maneuvering in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Service equipment sets on‑site, troubleshoot failures, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Order, receive, and manage tools, materials, and instruments needed for mission work.
  • Prepare accurate reports, maintain records, and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and work safely in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Train personnel in group settings and promote OSHA‑compliant safety practices.
