The Department of Enterprise Services (DES) provides centralized business services to state government agencies, other public entities, and Washington residents. The Buildings & Grounds Division (B&G) is responsible for the Capitol Campus and DES-managed building operations, stewardship, and historic preservation. B&G provides service to over 42 agencies, maintains, operates, and preserves the 486-acre state Capitol Campus in Olympia, including more than 31 buildings, 18 public monuments, over 6,000 parking stalls, four state parks, a 260-acre lake, and off-campus facilities in five counties. B&G executes these responsibilities through Facilities Operations, Grounds Operations, Leadership and Admin, Maintenance & Repairs, and Support Services (Custodial). As the Facility Operations Program Manager, you will be the expert for property management and parking services, reporting to the Deputy Assistant Director. You will champion daily campus operations, manage a $10+ million budget, and lead a team of 26 staff members, including five divisional managers, to ensure spaces are safe, reliable, and well-maintained. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with trade partners, and making a difference for Washingtonians.
