Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing, industrial, facilities-related, or operations experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Proven experience in facilities operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical operations leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, utilities, infrastructure operations, and maintenance practices.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and managing vendors in a complex operational environment.
  • Experience using KPIs and data to drive operational performance and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting research, manufacturing, or other technically complex campus environments.
  • Familiarity with Maximo, preventive maintenance programs, asset reliability practices, and CMMS tools.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing operating budgets and resource plans.
  • Experience supporting capital projects, infrastructure upgrades, or project execution activities.
  • Union leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Sullivan Park facilities operations, including maintenance, utilities, buildings and grounds, and site service delivery.
  • Ensure the safe, compliant, and reliable operation of site infrastructure, building systems, and utilities.
  • Execute daily operations in alignment with engineering standards, operational requirements, and business priorities.
  • Drive operational performance through KPIs, metrics, and routine reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, cost performance, reliability, and service delivery.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across facilities operations and maintenance activities.
  • Partner with site leadership, business teams, and Workplace Services functions to align operations with customer and business needs.
  • Manage contractor and service provider performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, safety, and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary operations interface for Sullivan Park facilities services.
  • Ensure execution of capital and infrastructure projects in coordination with engineering and project management teams.
  • Determine the prioritization and planning of maintenance, reliability, and infrastructure improvement initiatives with input from Engineering and stakeholders.
  • Align near-term operational priorities with long-term infrastructure and site strategy.
  • Manage multi million dollar expense budgets, including forecasting and accruals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, technicians, and other operations personnel including Union employees.
  • Foster a safety-first, high-performance culture centered on accountability, engagement, and teamwork.
  • Ensure workforce capabilities evolve to meet changing operational and business requirements.

  • The range for this position is $117,524.00 - $161,596.00 assuming full time status.
