About The Position

Clean Harbors is looking for a Logistics Operations Manager for our Baltimore, MD facility. This position will require a strong background in warehouse operations, with experience in truck-to-truck, cross-docking, or other high-volume, fast-paced distribution environments preferred. This individual will be a hands-on, results-oriented leader who can effectively manage multiple departments while ensuring operations remain efficient, accurate, and on schedule. Shift: 1st shift Pay: $75 - $85K

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required
Must be 18 years or older
5-7 yrs of related experience
Ability to use computer
Ability to lift 50 or more pounds

Nice To Haves

Experience in truck-to-truck, cross-docking, or other high-volume, fast-paced distribution environments preferred
Fork lift experience preferred

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily electronic dismantling, shedder operations to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met
Supervise, train, and develop dismantling staff, including assigning work, monitoring performance, and enforcing company policies
Ensure proper dismantling, sorting, and handling of electronic equipment in accordance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements
Maintain compliance with company-specific standards, including, but not limited to Maryland/City permits, OSHA, R2 (in process of being established), and EPA
Monitor workflow and labor efficiency; adjust staffing and processes to meet production goals and deadlines
Coordinate with upstream and downstream departments (receiving, logistics, data destruction, recycling, and sales) to ensure smooth material flow
Track inventory of dismantled components and materials; ensure accurate documentation and reporting
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve safety
Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
Ensure proper use, maintenance, and availability of tools and equipment used in dismantling operations
Enforce data security procedures when handling data-bearing devices
Monitor scrap yields, recoverable asset value, and disposal costs to support financial performance
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management
Support onboarding and cross-training of employees to maintain operational flexibility
Address employee issues, coach performance, and collaborate with General Manager, Directors, VPs, and HR on disciplinary actions when necessary
