About The Position

The Facility Operations Assistant will support the day-to-day functions of plant operations by coordinating production activities and ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards. This role will assist in maintaining facility and equipment oversight and serving as a liaison between departments to resolve operational challenges efficiently.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility operations, manufacturing support, or a related field.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, EHS protocols).
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of equipment monitoring and facility maintenance procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Monitor progress toward KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
Conduct facility safety inspections and help enforce safety protocols.
Support audits, training programs, and ensure adherence to OSHA and company EHS guidelines.
Monitor equipment performance and escalate maintenance issues.
Ensure proper upkeep of workstations, tools, and infrastructure.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR teams to resolve operational challenges.
Facilitate communication between the FGM and other department leaders.
Assist with budget tracking, inventory audits, and procurement planning.
Support lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and project rollouts.
Participate in strategic planning and long-term infrastructure improvement efforts.
Other duties as assigned.
