About The Position

The Facility Monitor maintains a safe residential recovery environment and provides support services to clients and program staff. The position includes maintaining facility security, monitoring residents’ rooms, providing crisis support, completing required documentation, and participating in shift coverage and program meetings. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum SUD registration.
• Valid California driver’s license and current auto insurance, as required by contract.
• Understanding of cultural competency.
• For a substance use disorder program, complete a tuberculosis test under licensed medical supervision within 45 working days of hire or within 5 working days of employment.
• Hold valid CPR and first aid certifications upon hire or within 90 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• SUD certification from a recognized board.
• Bilingual ability.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security procedures for the facility.
• Oversee residents’ rooms, conduct room searches, and ensure room standards are maintained.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization to assist clients with symptom management.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation as contractually required and meet minimum requirements for client services.
• Provide shift coverage, including as part of the on-call team.
• Maintain confidentiality of clients’ care.
• Participate in scheduled program meetings.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
