About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking an experienced hospital medicine physician leader to serve as facility medical director at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center, a 310-bed community hospital located just 30 minutes from downtown Atlanta. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a well-established and fully staffed hospital medicine program while partnering closely with hospital administration and TeamHealth leadership to drive quality, physician engagement, operational excellence, and patient outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, mentor clinicians, and play a key role in the continued success of a growing program within the highly respected Piedmont Healthcare system.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high performing hospital medicine team
- Drive quality, patient satisfaction, and operational initiatives
- Oversee departmental staffing, scheduling, and team engagement
- Participate in medical staff meetings and hospital committees
- Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational goals
- Monitor performance metrics and communicate results with TeamHealth and hospital leadership
- Partner with regional and national TeamHealth leaders to achieve quality and growth objectives
