FACILITY MANAGER Position Overview The Facility Manager supports operational excellence across multiple facilities through relationship management, program development, and budget oversight. This role partners closely with the Area Manager and client representatives to implement cost-effective solutions and enhance productivity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years industry experience in corporate environment, third-party service provider, or consulting capacity
  • Strong organizational and management capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS SharePoint
  • Computer proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Strong interpersonal and supervisory abilities
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Budget development and management experience
  • Vendor management and oversight
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in matrix management organizations
  • Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting, and building systems
  • Multi-site facility management experience
  • Experience with capital project implementation

Responsibilities

  • Support the Area Manager in implementing short and long-term client projects while developing strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
  • Interface closely with client representatives to develop and manage capital and expense budgets.
  • Develop and implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce operating costs and increase productivity.
  • Develop timely monthly and quarterly variance reporting on all operating budgets for assigned properties.
  • Assist with development and implementation of annual management plans for buildings within the area.
  • Matrix manage both technical and administrative staff across multiple facilities of different functions.
  • Supervise vendor performance during normal and off-hours, including weekends when necessary.
