About The Position

This role oversees the day-to-day operations of an entire facility, providing direct supervision and managerial oversight necessary for efficient and profitable management. The position involves training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, ensuring completion dates are met, and interpreting and consistently applying organizational policies. The Facility Manager is responsible for developing an annual store operating budget and managing operations within those guidelines, while also ensuring the physical plant is maintained to protect customer and employee safety and that all state and federal regulations are complied with.

Requirements

• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree
• Limited lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Successful completion of the Store Manager Training Program.
• Successful completion of the Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
• Strong Merchandising Skills.
• Strong interpersonal Skills.
• Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician (Vermont Employees).
• Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician (Ohio Employees).

Nice To Haves

• 3 or more years previous experience in Merchandising, Store Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of entire facility.
• Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff.
• Estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates.
• Interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.
• Assist in the development of an annual store operating budget, and operate the store within the budgetary guidelines.
• Responsible for the hiring, development, performance review, and disciplinary actions of store personnel.
• Responsible for insuring all employees are adequately trained to perform duties.
• Responsible for assignment of duties and scheduling of staff to insure payroll and productivity budget guidelines are met.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines.
• Manage and balance the store inventory to insure maximum turns while remaining in-stock for customer needs.
• Insures in-store technology is being used to its fullest potential to insure a maximum return on investment of the technology and life span.
• Communicate corporate goals to all store personnel, through weekly store meetings.
• Insure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees always.
• Insure all Loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention.
• Insure all corporate marketing, advertising and promotional programs are fully executed and implemented.
• Assist in the collections and management of all Accounts Receivables, including Third Party, Compensation, and Kinney House Charge.
• Insure all receiving and handling requirements for Kinney warehoused merchandise and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) merchandise are followed.
• Insure all Standards of Presentations (SOP), and Merchandise presentation guidelines are implemented and maintained in a timely fashion.
• Interface with various auditors, inspectors, vendors and outside agencies as needed.
• Insure the physical plant is maintained to protect customer and employee safety.
• Submit required reports, cashups, timesheets and other requested data to corporate on time.
• Insures all store employees follow all state and federal guidelines regarding the sale of alcohol and tobacco.
• Optimize cost management in line with script counts.
• Perform all store clerk duties as needed.
• Oversight responsibilities to insure facilities are compliant with all state and federal regulations and requirements.
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
