About The Position

The Facility Manager will set a high example of safety and ensure all facilities adhere to safety requirements. This role involves scheduling and monitoring shipping and warehouse functions to meet customer demand, safety, and environmental requirements. The Facility Manager will evaluate distribution, blending warehouse, and maintenance operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, ensuring all corporate policy and regulatory initiatives are applied. They will also ensure operators receive and maintain required training, maintain responsibility for the company fleet, and ensure the accuracy of all required paperwork. Administrative duties and other assigned tasks are also part of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Set a high example of safety and ensure all facilities adhere to safety requirements.
  • Schedule and monitor all shipping functions to ensure they are done safely and in accordance with DOT regulations and Brenntag procedures.
  • Schedule and monitor all warehouse functions to meet customer demand, as well as all safety and environmental requirements.
  • Evaluate distribution, blending warehouse and maintenance operations for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure all corporate policy and regulatory initiatives are applied.
  • Ensure all operators receive and maintain required training.
  • Maintain responsibility for company fleet including tractors, trailers, straight trucks and tankers.
  • Ensure accuracy of all required paperwork.
  • Complete all administrative duties, as assigned.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
