About The Position

Under direction of the Senior Facilities Manager, the Facility Manager manages operations and maintenance across multiple buildings within a region supporting client’s CSR goals and objectives. The Facility Manager is responsible for the delivery of quality service and should have a have a passion for leading a team that delivers an exceptional client experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years facilities management experience
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial, Civil, HVAC, business, or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Improve safety performance by changing level of awareness and changing behaviors
  • Develop, track and implement energy conservation and sustainability initiatives and document savings
  • Measure and manage client feedback, written and verbal throughout the year
  • Conduct formal and informal relationship meetings with contacts
  • Support client objectives and deliver on commitments
  • Manage client expectations of site appearance standards
  • Partner with on and off account individuals and teams to identify and implement best practices
  • Ensure all assigned equipment PM’s are completed as per schedule; proactively manage necessary equipment replacements.
  • Ensure data accuracy of computerized maintenance management system
  • Ensure compliance by completing all related training, Action Items/Audit Responses, and ensuring that all critical PMs are completed on time
  • Ensure all safety, environmental, and company/client standards are strictly adhered to within managed facilities
  • Ensure compliance with portfolio wide initiatives and required local, state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operation of facilities
  • Management of assigned budget to include: Budget creation, monthly analysis and accrual, forecast and variance reporting, and budget adjustment requests
  • Management of facilities capital planning.
  • Identify, implement, and document cost savings opportunities
  • Management of site vendors to include: set and follow through on expectations, identifying and correcting performance issues, ensuring compliance with company/client standards
  • Assist sourcing team with RFPs, data gathering, and vendor management
  • Management of maintenance team employees: set and follow through on expectations, identifying and correcting performance issues, ensuring compliance with company/client standards
  • Ensure direct reports complete all assigned training
  • Ensure talent development and succession planning
  • Attract and retain diverse, top talent
  • Planning and execution of small to medium site projects such as construction/demolition, equipment modification and replacement, and moves/changes
  • Assist project management team as the site level representative for larger projects
  • Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
