About The Position

Koniag Services Inc., a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Facility Manager of an IT Call Center operations in support of our government clients in the Nashville, Tennessee area. The ideal candidate is a motivated and customer-focused leader with a solid background in supporting IT service desk and call center programs within a federal government environment. They bring strong organizational skills, a collaborative management approach, and dedication to delivering consistent, high-quality service to government end users. Ability to obtain a government security clearance may be required to support Koniag Services Inc. and our government customers. The Facility Manager oversees the design, leasing, buildout, and day‑to‑day operations of a secure, mission-critical Level II facility supporting safety, and security functions. This role manages architectural planning, security systems, communications infrastructure, and operational readiness for a 40,000–60,000 sq. ft. facility operating 24/7/365 call center operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, Security Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years managing secure or mission-critical facilities.
  • Experience with high-security systems, federal standards, and 24/7 operational environments.
  • Knowledge of ISC Risk Management Process, GSA requirements, and secure communications infrastructure.
  • Strong project management, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English – both written and oral – with the ability to effectively engage government stakeholders, technical teams, and frontline call center staff at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with demonstrated success leading multi-shift call center or service desk teams in a structured service delivery environment.
  • Solid understanding of federal government contracting processes, including FAR compliance, contract deliverable management, and COR/CO relationships.
  • Proficiency in planning, scheduling, financial management, and risk mitigation within a government contracting context.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed operational decisions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience supporting federal IT service desk or call center contracts in a Facility Manager or equivalent leadership capacity.
  • Active government security clearance (Secret or higher).
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Certifications such as CFM, PSP, or PMP.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site management, facility design, and buildout in alignment with federal security and operational standards.
  • Oversee architectural layouts, workspace planning, and secure communication system integration.
  • Manage implementation of PACS, surveillance, intrusion detection, and TACCOM systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Interagency Security Committee (ISC) and GSA requirements.
  • Direct redundant power, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and IT infrastructure planning.
  • Develop emergency preparedness and continuity-of-operations (COOP) plans.
  • Coordinate contractor activities, quality control, and phased commissioning.
  • Coordinate with Koniag Corporate Security and Facility Management to ensure site policy standard meets that of the corporate office.
  • Ensure building owner maintains utilities and critical systems (power continuity, HVAC, water, IT conduit space).
  • Address environmental risks, hazard mitigation, and incident response procedures related to the building structure.
  • Discuss infrastructure limitations or upgrades needed to support secure communications or mission-critical operations.

  • Submit and track building owner‑managed work orders for structural, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues.
  • Schedule landlord-required inspections or testing (fire systems, elevators, sprinklers).
  • Verify timely completion of repairs and maintain documentation for compliance audits.
  • Train personnel on facility security protocols and operational procedures.
