About The Position

From commercial office space and manufacturing to multi-site retail portfolios, we manage and support over 1 billion square feet of facilities space for the nation’s leading organizations. We provide comprehensive facility services ranging from mechanical maintenance and self-performed, site-based operations to energy-efficiency upgrades and supplier-managed interior/exterior maintenance. This role assumes the overall responsibility for the management and daily operations of all properties within the designated region. Responsible for working with maintenance personnel to ensure duties are completed safely, effectively and within standard. Develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of facility, personnel and processes. Manage and respond to emergency calls and oversee time-critical repairs. Plan and oversee execution of audits, routine maintenance and improvement projects for facility and equipment. Build and maintain quality relationships with key customer stakeholders, internal team members, and external partner service providers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, BA Degree Preferred
  • 5-8 years in Facility Management
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspond accordingly.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumferences, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

  • Perform 1-2 facility audits for every active site within the area(s) of responsibility. Audit must include completed audit form, required pictures, and verified archival in designated email box.
  • Cross-functionally manage and lead site base technicians within the area of responsibility.
  • Partner with the EMCOR Field Organization in order to accomplish account objectives.
  • Build and maintain quality relationships with Covista Facility Management Team, CU site contacts, EMCOR Account Team and the EMCOR Field Organization.
  • Manage allocated budget for assigned region.
  • Manage KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) across all areas of responsibility and develop action plans as needed to ensure we are meeting performance standards.
  • Respond to and manage all Emergency Work Orders for areas of responsibility during non-business hours.
  • Investigate any safety-related issues and address appropriately.
