About The Position

Markon is building a talent pool of SME-level Facility Managers to support one of our Intelligence Community customers. This ideal candidate will assist the government with project management, scope of work development, and design reviews for the Facilities Project Management and Maintenance enterprises. The Facility Manager will be responsible for assigned projects from project inception through physical and financial closeout.

Requirements

TS/SCI with a CI Poly (Preferably from this client)
Requires a BA degree and 5 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Min 5 year working with or in the IC.
Experience with managing the operational tracking of all client space allocations, tracking quarterly space data trends, preparing financial data based on space allocation, and maintaining a drawing and database repository depicting component space allocations and costs.
Ability to support client facilities organizations across a range of facilities-related tasks.
Ability to develop, implement, and oversee facilities-related budget execution requirements.
Ability to provide a variety of facility project management services support to client facility occupants.
Ability to provide guidance on a range of facilities project issues, including consideration of risk and impact on client-owned and leased facilities and infrastructure.
Ability to update and maintain documentation in direct support of client facilities.

Nice To Haves

Experience with one or more software tools: ARCHIBUS, BUILDER, Microsoft Office, Access, or Project.

Responsibilities

Analyze, formulate, and recommend facility standards and design and space criteria and usage through space utilization studies and forecasts for clients in national security.
Lead analyses and solution development for facility planning and management for client facilities, embassies, and other USG properties, to include overseas.
Perform complex activities as related to the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization.
Prepare and review facilities estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility. Provide an annual consolidated Real Property Portfolio Study.
Advise clients in developing plans and programs responsive to present and anticipated portfolio, facility, or individual space requirements.
Recommend planning, design, and construction standards and milestones.
Support facility operations and maintenance across multiple locations in the DMV area.
