About The Position
Engage Studios is seeking a Facility Management Lead for a long-term, full-time, on-site assignment on the west coast of Sweden. The role supports R&D and Design teams as the primary contact for all facility-related matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the facility portfolio, focusing on efficient operations, cost-effectiveness, and maintaining a high-quality working environment. This includes managing negotiations, contract administration, landlord relations, and developing strategic workplace solutions.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of working in R&D and Design environments.
- Experience in budget management and cost management.
- Experience in negotiations and contract management.
- Full driving license.
- Strong financial acumen, communication, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness.
- Hands-on problem solver with project leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Office 365 & SharePoint.
- Availability for long-term, full-time (100%) on-site work on the west coast of Sweden.

Responsibilities
- Manage assigned facility-related contracts, including negotiations, terminations, subleasing opportunities, and contractual modifications, while proactively monitoring contract durations.
- Maintain a comprehensive lease overview and foster professional relationships with landlords and external stakeholders.
- Monitor facility utilization, identify trends, and implement improvements to enhance space efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Lead strategic initiatives focused on workplace functionality, employee experience, and cost-performance improvements.
- Manage facility-related changes, office updates, and relocations, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
- Support the disposal and upkeep of facility assets such as furniture and equipment.
- Participate in safety walks for assigned common office areas to ensure governance, safety, and compliance.
- Coordinate with the Head of Facility Management and the company insurance broker for insurance portfolio support.
- Conduct occasional travel to external sites as required by the assignment.
