About The Position

Belle Haven Country Club seeks a full-time staff associate to maintain its tennis facility. The position maintains indoor and outdoor tennis courts and surrounding areas, including routine court preparation and upkeep, seasonal opening and closing tasks, and maintenance or repair of equipment. The associate must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
Must be able to walk at least 2 miles per day.

Responsibilities

Roll and line outdoor clay courts for play each morning, weather permitting.
Clean debris and trash from courts and surrounding areas.
Empty trash cans outdoors and in the Athletic Facility.
Fill cup dispensers and ice-water jugs at outdoor courts and in the Athletic Facility each morning.
Sweep indoor courts with a court sweeper each morning as scheduled.
Clean outdoor shoe cleaners (Tennis-two-step).
Perform scheduled mid-day clay-court maintenance, including watering, brooming, and lining.
Perform scheduled evening maintenance of outdoor courts.
Sweep clay-court lines for each group before play.
Apply magnesium chloride to clay courts on Monday mornings as required.
Clean patios, patio furniture, and areas surrounding the tennis facilities.
Patch and level clay courts as required.
Install, take down, and repair windscreens, tents, and other court equipment as necessary.
Complete the Spring Court Opening tasks list annually in spring.
Complete the Winter Court Closing tasks list annually.
Keep desk personnel informed about court conditions.
Repair or schedule repairs to maintenance machines and equipment.
Perform additional tasks needed to keep indoor and outdoor tennis courts and surrounding areas in good order.
Blow off snow or debris on platform tennis courts.
Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor.
