About The Position

Our aim is to make members feel as though they are in a private home, enjoying outstanding food and wine surrounded by stunning decor. Maxime’s is a private member’s club by entrepreneur Robin Birley, located on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York City. We are seeking an experienced Facility/ Maintenance Worker to join our world- class hospitality brigade. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Facilities/ Maintenance Worker will assist in performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the Club’s facilities, art exhibits and equipment are operational. You’ll be working as part of an established team delivering exceptional experiences daily. Requirements

  • Proven experience in Maintenance within hospitality environment, or luxury hotel settings.
  • Versatile skill set in general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, hvac and basic repairs, along with the ability to adapt to our unique needs.
  • Polished personal presentation that meets Company standards.
  • Maintains a professional, upbeat demeanor and embraces a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including early morning, nights, weekends and holidays per the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the Club’s facilities, art exhibits and equipment are operational.
  • Perform general, preventive and emergency maintenance.
