About The Position

The Facility Maintenance Worker is responsible for the safety, mechanical, and aesthetic upkeep of P.C. Richard & Son's New York showroom locations and properties, both indoors and outdoors. The role involves working across maintenance areas such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring, HVAC, locks, low-voltage wiring, landscaping, and preventative maintenance. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with listed schedules of 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of some or all of the following areas: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring, HVAC, locks, low-voltage wiring (Cat5/6 and telephone), landscaping, and preventative maintenance.
• Detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to use a ladder, scissor lift, and bucket truck.
• Ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively to resolve issues.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Valid driver's license to operate a company vehicle.
