About The Position
The Kentucky State Police has a wide range of facilities throughout the Commonwealth including Police Posts, Administrative Branches, Weigh Facilities, Headquarters, the Academy and Laboratories. Each require a skilled hand and attentive eye to ensure proper upkeep and maintenance. The Facility Maintenance Worker I will be responsible for the daily janitorial, maintenance and general repair required for an assigned facility and grounds.

Responsibilities
- Provides maintenance and janitorial duties for the assigned buildings.
- Monitors the status of the compressed air and gas tanks in the analytical areas and replenishes empty tanks.
- Coordinates deliveries for distribution with staff and signs for deliveries.
- Operates machinery and equipment required to complete duties under direct supervision.
- Assists skilled trade professionals when required under direct supervision.
