About The Position

The Facility Maintenance role is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, TX, responsible for ensuring that warehouse and office environments are clean, safe, and fully operational. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, conducting minor repairs on building systems and equipment, and coordinating with external vendors for specialized maintenance work. This role supports facility readiness by monitoring lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems, and responding promptly to maintenance requests from operations and office teams. The Facility Maintenance team member will also help maintain compliance with safety and cleanliness standards, assist with setup and rearrangement of workspaces, and document maintenance activities to support efficient, uninterrupted logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Hands-on facility maintenance skills, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building repair.
  • Experience with warehouse or industrial environments, including equipment maintenance and safe operation of tools.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
  • Ability to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, and standing.
  • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Ability to work legally in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in logistics or distribution centers.
  • Relevant technical training or certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, facilities management).

Responsibilities
