Requirements

Must be required to lift, push, pull and move equipment supplies etc., in excess of fifty (50) pounds throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

Experience in plumbing, plastering, painting, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
Ability to service heating and cooling units/systems.
Knowledge of fire safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from supervisor and as outlined in established maintenance policies and procedures.
Perform routine maintenance on the facility, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, etc., as necessary/directed.
Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, painting, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
Perform light electrical tasks, such as replacing burned-out light bulbs in various fixtures and cleaning high places.
Service heating and cooling units/systems as specified by the manufacturer and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Follow all established fire safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance service.
Maintain the general plant and facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
Ensure that work/assignment areas are clean and equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored before leaving for breaks or at the end of the workday.
Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions, such as grease/oil spills or excess supplies/equipment, to ensure all established safety rules/regulations are followed.
