About The Position

Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a dependable and skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to work under the direction of the Facility Manager and assist with the maintenance and upkeep of all PWS locations. This role involves performing general facility maintenance and repairs across various trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. The technician will also be responsible for grounds maintenance, including snow removal and landscaping, and ensuring a safe and professional work environment. Travel between PWS facilities in Madison and Milwaukee may be required.

Requirements

• Active and valid Wisconsin driver's license required
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools safely
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Nice To Haves

• Experience in facility maintenance, building trades, or related fields preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs
• Assist with HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting
• Complete plumbing repairs and installations
• Perform basic electrical work and repairs
• Operate snow plows and conduct snow removal during winter months
• Apply sidewalk salt and ensure safe walking surfaces
• Complete landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks
• Perform general carpentry work and building repairs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
• Travel between PWS facilities as needed (Madison and Milwaukee)
