About The Position

Cresco Labs is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to keep the facility in satisfactory condition for production and manufacturing operations. The role involves maintaining building systems and premises, handling routine maintenance and repairs, supporting facility projects, and coordinating with service vendors and contractors. The technician also monitors utility usage and building energy management, maintains supplies and records, and performs related errands and other duties as needed. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The work environment includes office, indoor grow production, warehouse or distribution settings, and outdoor elements. The role may involve dust and pollen exposure and indoor or greenhouse temperatures up to 90°F.

Requirements

1–3 years of industrial building maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to read machine prints and perform machine repair.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Hands-on experience installing piping systems for air, water, and steam; industrial electrical installations; and control circuits.
Relevant technical knowledge.
Must be able to drive a forklift, car, van, and truck.
Must tolerate exposure to dust and pollen associated with working in a cultivation center.
Must be able to crouch and reach to install or move equipment by bending at the waist, legs, and spine.
Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or plants weighing up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
Must be able to perform job duties in indoor and greenhouse climates up to 90°F.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must comply with applicable legal and company regulations for working in the industry.
Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

HVAC certification preferred.
Experience in a production environment using mechanical, electrical, and plumbing troubleshooting skills.
Experience with utility installations, including electrical, steam, air, and process piping.

Responsibilities

Assist with building inspections, procuring bids, building operations, leasing, and projects as needed.
Complete work lists in a timely manner.
Routinely inspect HVAC, doors, interior and exterior lighting, the roof, and general premises.
Maintain building systems, including lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life-safety systems, building security, and fencing.
Repair mechanical equipment as directed.
Maintain a log of maintenance performed.
Perform electrical work, including bulb and ballast replacement, as well as plumbing, painting, and carpentry as required.
Keep keys to all areas marked and organized, and maintain knowledge of the different keys.
Patrol the building exterior for garbage.
Maintain landscaping, snow-plow, HVAC, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors or vendors.
Maintain an inventory of janitorial, mechanical, and electrical supplies.
Move equipment, tools, or supplies between properties as required.
Run errands, including picking up supplies from vendors.
Assist with roof maintenance and repair work as needed.
Perform touch-up painting and drywall patching as needed.
Troubleshoot and solve miscellaneous problems.
Monitor utility usage and manage building energy use, including the building automation system.
Use protective hearing equipment, eyewear, and shoes when necessary.
Mark store purchase receipts properly and submit packets bi-weekly.
Shred and dispose of facility waste properly.
Perform other duties as necessary.
