About The Position

We are seeking Facility Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Richmond, CA. Candidates should possess a well-rounded knowledge of facility operations to include experience in any of the following areas: building maintenance (electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, welding) material handling equipment, and industrial refrigeration. Join our talented engineering team that supports all maintenance aspects of our Cold Storage Facility.

Requirements

Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, as well as being able to multi-task
Able to properly operate a wide variety of power tools, motorized pallet-jacks and warehouse equipment
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
Successful applicants must pass a post offer, pre employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred

Responsibilities

Promote a safe work environment and follow all safety rules and procedures
Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems under supervision
Perform basic carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, and doors
Assist with painting and general facility upkeep
Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools such as wrenches, sockets, gear pullers screwdrivers, jacks, drill press, screw gun, electric drill, etc.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on the building systems
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Report any safety hazards or concerns to management promptly
