About The Position
The Facility Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of equipment, vehicles, and shop machinery. This role identifies maintenance issues, completes repairs, and maintains equipment for groundskeeping, wood manufacturing, and residential construction departments. The position requires exceptional mechanical and technical skills, the ability to work alone or with a team, and a willingness to immediately address urgent repairs. Additionally, it requires an aptitude to develop, maintain, and execute preventative schedules. This hands‑on role balances problem‑solving, technical expertise, and safety awareness to ensure operational reliability and asset longevity. This role also supports operational activities as needed to ensure grounds, facilities, and wood manufacturing needs are met.
