About The Position

This role is an exciting opportunity at Albertsons Companies for someone seeking to make an impact and contribute to the growth of a company that values great service and lasting customer relationships. The position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that’s constantly evolving. The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing and/or overseeing preventive maintenance on equipment. This includes completion of daily Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders, scheduled repair work orders, and unscheduled emergency repairs, and project work associated with the operation of a production and warehouse facility.

Requirements

  • Computer skills (basic computer knowledge)
  • Knowledge of electrical systems including 110-480V systems, AC & DC control systems, installing, troubleshooting and repair
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Knowledge of plant mechanical processes sufficient to analyze performance trends and recommend and initiate corrective actions to improve process performance.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of PLC controls
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems, with ammonia
  • Welding-TIG, MIG, Stick, etc. Stainless / Sanitary equipment experience
  • Forklift and pallet-jack certification

Responsibilities

  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate daily activities
  • Ability to maximize productivity and minimize waste
  • Willingness to work in a safe manner and promote a safe working environment
  • Perform all needed maintenance functions in support of Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) initiative and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs.
  • Perform emergency repairs as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance task as scheduled
  • Participate in continuous improvement process
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance and product support areas
