About The Position

The City of Chandler Building and Facilities Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Facility Maintenance Senior Technician. This position is scheduled to work five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. The City of Chandler Building and Facilities Division consists of 20 positions to include technicians, support staff and management. We support 70 multi-use buildings totaling more than one million square feet extending over 65 square miles. Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED supplemented by some technical or related coursework
  • 4 years of maintenance experience in commercial/industrial environment, including the use of construction equipment
  • EAMS or CMMS experience
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years of experience in commercial building facilities maintenance.
  • Experience maintaining municipal or other government-owned facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on commercial buildings.
  • Broad knowledge of HVAC/mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
