This position is responsible for identifying and correcting building and equipment issues. The role involves highly complex assignments requiring independent action and initiative in problem-solving and developing recommendations. The technician will act independently to determine methods and procedures for new assignments. They will be responsible for performing installation, preventative maintenance, inspection, repair, and replacement of various equipment, as well as floor and wall repair. The role also requires responding to emergencies efficiently and in a timely manner to effect immediate repairs. Communication with team members, co-workers, employees, contractors, and vendors is essential for obtaining and providing helpful information. Depending on the location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
