Facility Maintenance & Operator
About The Position
Operates and monitors computerized building control systems and maintains facility/plant systems and equipment. Independently performs major repairs/installations on a wide variety of complex building systems and equipment. Requirements
- Building Systems Technician certificate
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Power Engineering License pursuant to the Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act
- 5th Class Engineering certificate, as required by the Boiler and Pressure Vessels Safety Act
- Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required by the job
- Pool Operator certificate, where required
- Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job
- Communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Intermediate - Computer skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of tools and equipment
- Valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search (required for interview)
