About The Position

The Facility Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance function and ensuring the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of facility equipment, utilities, and infrastructure. This role will lead the maintenance team, improve preventive maintenance execution, reduce unplanned downtime, and partner closely with Operations to support equipment reliability and facility performance.

Requirements

Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing, processing, or a similar equipment-intensive environment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.
Working knowledge of industrial safety practices and OSHA requirements.
Experience managing contractors, vendors, maintenance projects, and budgets.
Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation.
Strong leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience with industrial equipment and systems such as pumps, motors, piping, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, compressors, electrical controls, PLCs, and facility utilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and manage facility maintenance personnel.
Direct daily maintenance activities for production equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Prioritize maintenance activities based on safety, operational impact, and equipment reliability.
Manage work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment history through the CMMS.
Troubleshoot recurring equipment issues and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Monitor key maintenance metrics including uptime, downtime, PM completion, backlog, and maintenance costs.
Manage contractors, vendors, spare-parts inventory, and maintenance-related spending.
Coordinate equipment repairs, planned shutdowns, installations, and facility improvement projects.
Ensure maintenance work complies with company safety requirements and applicable regulations, including Lockout/Tagout.
Partner with Operations, EHS, Engineering, and other teams to improve reliability, productivity, and overall facility performance.
